PURPOSE:To automatize a part of a circuit designing job by performing a dividing job based on a rough-dividing line designated by a designer and using the result of said division to generate the information on a package pin. CONSTITUTION:Digital logic circuit information is inputted from an input/output device 1 and processed by an arithmetic processor 2. The result of this processing is stored in a storage device 3. A dividing line deciding mechanism 5 divides the dividing lines into vertical and horizontal lines and checks these divided dividing lines with correction for all circuits. Then a logic circuit information dividing mechanism 6 divides the logic circuit information for division of symbol information and terminal information according to the dividing lines decided by the mechanism 5. Then a terminal is produced on a signal line serving as a cut end for each package based on the divided digital logic circuit information. In other words, a package pin is generated on a package board in terms of the same signal line. This processing is carried out for all circuits and these data are stored in the device 3.
