PURPOSE:To provide the titled powder of low melt flow temperature along with high thermal decomposition temperature, capable of giving high peel bond strength, useful as hot-melt adhesives, constituted of vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride and (meth)allyl chloride units. CONSTITUTION:The objective powder can be obtained by pref. suspension polymerization between vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride and (meth)allyl chloride followed by, in principle, grinding the resultant copolymer. This powder has an average size 5-50mu, being constituted of (A) pref. 20-75wt% of vinyl chloride unit, (B) pref. 20-75wt% of vinylidene chloride unit, and (C) pref. 2-15wt% of (meth)allyl chloride unit. |
