PURPOSE:To simplify a computer system for process control and to perform the real time simulation at a high speed by adding a vector arithmetic processor and the software to be processed by said processor to an arithmetic computer which performs the simulating calculation in real time. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic computer 4 performs the simulating calculation in response to a request received from a cooling line control computer 1 and based on the arithmetic data given from the computer 1. The result of the simulating calculation is given to the computer 1. In this case, the computer 4 carries out the simulation arithmetic via its built-in vector arithmetic processor through processing of software including a heat transmission simulation processing program 15, a vector processor calling subroutine 17, etc., of a built-in CPU14. Therefore it is not required to mount a vector arithmetic to simplify the computer system constitution and to attain the real time simulation at a high speed.
