PURPOSE:To simplify the control of replaying of an ejected disk by invalidating the contents stored in a recording information storing means in a read-in area of a disk at the disappearance of a slot position detecting signal after the completion of carrying of the disk by a loading mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In the read-in area of the disk 3, TOC information such as the number of musical programs recorded on the disk, the total absolute time and the playing time of each musical programs is recorded, and the read TOC information is stored in a RAM21. When the ejecting operation of the disk 3 is completed after the end of playing, a CPU20 detects the completion and then decides the existence of a load command. When the disk 3 is ejected at the decision of absence of the load command, the TOC information stored in the RAM21 is invalidated at the decision of ejection of the disk from a slot position. Thus, the replaying of the ejected disk can be simply controlled.
