<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce a binary signal without disturbance of a character or a graph by obtaining a desired pixel clock based on a binary signal in a video signal without receiving any special signal from the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:An analog video signal obtained by converting (3) a video signal digitized (1) and sampled by a pixel clock at the transmission side into an analog signal is sent. The signal is converted (13) again into a digital signal as an input signal to other digital video equipment at the reception side. In the TV signal system above, the pixel clock is reproduced 9 12) by using the edge 8 of the binary signal in the video signal as the frequency and phase reference. Thus, the binary signal is extracted (7) from the input composite video signal including a binary signal and the edge 8 is used as the frequency reference to generate a clock 9, the trailing edge 11 of the clock 9 is used as the phase reference to recover the pixel clock 12 to convert (13) the input video signal into a digital signal.</p> |
