摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten a parking rod and improve the operational reliability and durability of a parking mechanism by arranging the parking mechanism between an automatic transmission and a speed reducer in the said mechanism for vehicle with automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:During the normal travel, the line pressure fed to the hydraulic control unit of an automatic transmission is fed to a hydraulic servo 70 to engage a friction clutch 7, and the pressure in hydraulic servos 50, 80 is discharged to release a friction brake 5 and a friction clutch 8. Then, an input shaft 2 and the first output shaft 11 are connected, the drive force is transmitted with a reduction ration of l, and two-rear wheel drive travel is attained. When the line pressure is fed to the hydraulic servo 80 of a transfer device to engage the friction clutch 8, the output shaft 11 and a sleeve 9 are connected, and four-wheel drive travel is attained. When the line pressure is fed to the hydraulic servo 50 to engage the friction brake 5, four-wheel drive deceleration is attained. Accordingly, the reliability and durability can be improved.
