PURPOSE:To read a data stored in advance in a memory and to display the data on a CRT even after the reception operation by converting a TELETEXT signal into a digital signal and storing the signal in the memory. CONSTITUTION:The received TELETEXT signal is subject to processing such as convertion into a digital signal by using a program of a character signal processing ROM 11 by a command of a microcomputer 27 and the data is stored in a memory 12. The TELETEXT reception is command by an infrared ray remote control signal from a remote controller 19 and the program is selected, its signal is fed to the microcomputer 27, a required program data is selected from the memory 12 by the command of the microcomputer 27 and fed to the CRT 3 and displayed via a CRT control section 17 and a video interface 18. Even after the reception of broadcast, the data stored in advance in the memory 12 is read by the operation and displayed on the CRT 3.
