PURPOSE:A resin composition suitable as automobile parts such as bumpers, etc., having improved organic solvent resistance, mechanical strength and processing stability at high temperature, comprising a polyphenylene resin, a polyamide, a thioether compound, etc. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. resin composition consisting of A1: 70-90pts.wt. polyphenylene ether resin having a structural unit shown by formula I (n is >=50; Q is H, halogen, etc.), A2: 30-90pts.wt. polyamide resin (e.g. nylon 66, nylon 6, etc.) and A3: rubber-like polymer (e.g. aromatic vinyl compound- conjugated diene copolymer, etc.) is blended with (B) 0.01-5pts.wt., preferably 0.05-3pts.wt. thioether compound (e.g. compound shown by formula II, etc.) and (C) 0.01-30pts.wt., preferably 0.05-15pts.wt. compound (e.g. maleic anhydride, etc.) simultaneously containing carbon-carbon unsaturated group and a polar group.
