PURPOSE:To position a disk body and a hub to a disk receiving part in both cross sectional and a planer direction by specifying the attracting force between the hub and a chucking magnet. CONSTITUTION:A floppy disk whose disk outer diameter is 2.1-2.9inch and provided with a hub made of a magnetic substance at its center is driven and the disk receiving part provided with the chucking magnet is provided, and the attracting force between the hub and the chucking magnet when the floppy disk is set normally is selected as 20-300g. Supposing the slip torque between the hub 12 and the disk receiving part 20 when the disk receiving part 20 is driven in the direction of arrow 40 is A, the slip torque between upper/lower heads and the disk 10 is B, and the slip torque between upper/lower pads and the disk 10 is C, the hub 12 is driven in a direction of the arrow 42 by a drive pin 24 in case of a relation of A<B+C, the peripheral of the disk receiving part 20 is in contact with the straight line parts 201, 202 of the centering regulating plate 13 to complete the planer positioning.
