摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration and deformation of a substrate occurring in the heat of a laser beam and to remarkably improve an information rewriting characteristic by using the substrate consisting of a photosensitive resin layer and heat resistant base body. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive resin layer 2 is formed on the glass base body 1 which is the heat resistant base body to constitute the substrate 3 for an optical disk. Optical guide grooves are formed on the photosensitive resin layer 2 and an optical recording medium film 4 is formed thereon. A protective film 5 is formed on the optical recording medium 4. The photosensitive resin is the resin cured by the irradiation of UV rays, etc., and is, for example, preferably an acrylic resin. The material to constitute the optical recording medium film is an alloy of elements of >=2 components to exhibit an eutectic phenomenon or a material having a compd. compsn. and may not only be a binary comps. such as, for example, In-Sb or Al-Ca but also be ternary and quaternary compsn. The protective film to be formed on the optical recording medium film is of an org. high-polymer material, oxide, nitride, etc. which do not adversely affect the optical recording medium.
