PURPOSE:To prevent useless saving of a main storage onto an auxiliary storage device and to shorten the saving time, by providing a program space managing means, inter-subprogram control shifting means, and main storage saving controlling means and realizing a specific constitution. CONSTITUTION:The main storage content saving system of this invention is provided with a program space managing means 3 which manages names of sub-programs and spatial addresses of the sub-programs on a main storage, inter-subprogram control shifting means 4 which manages the calling and called sides of the sub-programs when the control is shifted among sub-programs, and main storage saving controlling means 5 which refers to spatial address tables for each sub-program and outputs the content of a related sub-program on the main storage device only onto an auxiliary storage device 6. Then the content of the main storage on a huge program composed of plural sub-programs is outputted by limiting the content to the content of the sub-program which is related to the time when the program is abnormally terminated. Therefore, the saving time can be shortened. |
