PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of warpage by using a polarizing plate with a reflecting plate which has the reflecting plate adhered to a polarizer and is adhered with protective films on both sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:PVA-I2 is sued for the polarizer 3, a uniaxially oriented polyester film for a protective film 1 and Al foil for the reflecting plate 4. The polarizing plate with the reflecting plate formed of the reflecting plate 4 stuck to the sheet of the polarizer 3 and the films 1 adhered to sandwich said sheet and the reflecting plate 4 from both sides is used for one of substrates. A thermally stable liquid crystal display body which is free from warpage is obtd. by using the polarizing plate with the reflecting plate adhered to the polarizer 3 having good symmetry in the above-mentioned manner.
