PURPOSE:To prevent knocking by selecting and learning an ignition correcting quantity which is obtained so as to restrain knocking to a defined level, in accordance with the temp. of an engine and correcting a basic ignition timing in accordance with said ignition correcting quantity. CONSTITUTION:An operating means (d) operates an ignition correcting quantity for correcting ignition timing to a delaying side in order to restrain knocking which is detected by a knock detecting means (a) to a defined level, and a selecting means (e) selects the optimum ignition correcting quantity in accordance with the temp. of an engine. Further, a memory means (f) learns the ignition correcting quantity selected by the selecting means (e) as one corresponding to the engine temp. at that time, and allocatingly stores the learned value according to the corresponding temp. zone. And, a basic ignition timing is set in accordance with the operating condition at that time by an ignition timing setting means (g), while the basic ignition timing is corrected according to the ignition correcting quantity read out of the memory means (f) and an igniting means (h) is controlled according to the ignition timing after corrected. |
