NEW MATERIAL:A 5-fluorouracil derivative shown by formula I (R is 0-10C unsubstituted or substituted alkylene; A is -NH- or -CO-; n is 0 or 1; Y is 1-10C unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, unsubstituted or substituted aryl, unsubstituted or substituted heteroacryl, pyridinium ion containing halogen as pair ion or isocyanato). EXAMPLE:5-Fluoro-3,4-dihydro-2, 4-dioxo-N-( 2-thienyl )-1(2H)-pyrimidinecarboxa mide. USE:A carcinostatic agent or an intermediate derivative thereof. Having sufficient carcinostatic action, low toxicity and high purity. PREPARATION:5-Fluorouracil is reacted with an isocyanate shown by formula II to give a 5-fluorouracil derivative shown by formula I.
