PURPOSE:To improve the operativity by providing a cassette guide mechanism which serves to guide a cassette when the cassette is loaded and as a cassette jump-out preventing mechanism when the cassette is taken out. CONSTITUTION:The cassette 10 is inserted on a guide roller 1 as shown by an arrow G and then the guide roller 1 is pushed as shown by an arrow L by the cassette 10 guided by a clamping frame 20 to displace a leaf spring 4; and the guide roller 1 moves in a direction L by the displacement of the leaf spring 4 and rotates in this state as shown by an arrow A, thereby guiding the insertion of the cassette 10. When the center Yc of the cassette is not aligned with the center Y of X-ray photography, the cassette 10 moves as shown by an arrow K while moving as shown by the arrow G to move linearly and slantingly the guide roller 1 on the X-ray photography center Y. In this case, the guide roller 1 is put in swing motion as shown by an arrow C while following up the tilt angle of the cassette movement to vary in angle, and also rotates in the state as shown by an arrow A, thereby guiding the cassette 10. The mechanism operates similarly even when the cassette is taken out.
