PURPOSE:A solid lecithin useful for food, drug, cosmetic, coating compound, printing ink, rubber, etc., having easy weighing operation in addition, good workability, surface active action, anti-oxidant action, etc., obtained by adding solid fats to animal or vegetable lecithin and molding. CONSTITUTION:An animal or vegetable lecithin (preferably hydrogenated or hydrolyzed lecithin obtained from soybean, egg yolk, bovine brain, colza, sunflower, safflower, cotton seed, maize, linseed, sesame, olive, rice, tung, grape, avocado, coconut, palm, etc., as raw material is blended with preferably 30-90wt% solid fats (preferably animal fats and oils, hardened oil, fractionated oil or wax thereof) and molded to give the aimed solid lecithin.
