PURPOSE:The titled composition suitable as electric and electronic parts, etc., having improved moldability, heat resistance and mechanical characteristics at high temperature, obtained by blending a specific polyamide with potassium titanate fibers. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. polyimide resin having a repeating unit shown by formula III obtained by reacting an ether diamine shown by formula I (Y is directly bonded 1-10C bifunctional hydrocarbon, etc.) with a tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride shown by formula II (R is >=2C aliphatic group) is blended with 5-200pts.wt., preferably 10-100pts.wt. potassium titanate fibers having 1,300-1,350 deg.C melting point, 5-50mum average fiber length and 0.05-1.0mum average fiber diameter.
