PURPOSE:To facilitate handling such as disposal of used battery and to increase efficiency of charge-discharge by using a metal oxide in a positive electrode and phthalocyanine in a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION:A metal oxide is used in a positive electrode and phthalocyanine is used in a negative electrode. As the metal oxide, oxide of copper, silver, lead, silicon, tin, titanium, antimony, bismuth, and nickel is used. As the phthalocyanine, partially sulfonated compound, a complex compound such as amino complex, polymer, and a compound having polymer chain such as polystyrene chain is used. Activated carbon and phthalocyanine are used as electrode, and aqueous solution or nonaqueous solution is selectively used as electrolyte. For metal phthalocyanine, aqueous electrolyte is used, and for metal-free phthalocyanine, nonaqueous electrolyte dissolved with alkali metal salt is used. |
