PURPOSE:To enable certain contact and to make setting extremely simple, by providing a means for rotating the contact element engaged with a flexible guide tube. CONSTITUTION:Contact probes 11 are mounted to the through-holes formed to the first mount plate 18, second mount plate 20 and third mount plate 23 arranged to the upper surface of a substrate 26. Subsequently, a fine adjustment screw 21 is rotated to press the leading ends of contact elements to the substrate 12 and a rack gear 24 is subsequently moved left and right by a power means such as a motor. By this method, the gears 16 meshed with the rack gear 24 rotate and the leading ends of the contact elements 12 rotate through insulators 15 and plungers 14. The oxide film of the conductive part of the substrate is certainly peeled off by rotating the contact elements 12 and the certain contact of a surface to be measured with the contact elements can be secured.
