PURPOSE:To mold a product with a good appearance by covering the surface of resin molded product with a softening undercut section by a flexible sheet mold, retaining with a retaining frame and vacuum drawing a resin molded product. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a softening resin molded product 12 is covered with a sheet mold 15 in such a way that a mold face 15a contacts. Then, frames 17 and 18 are integrated in such a way that respective inner circumference faces 17a and 18b contact the surface of said mold 15, and the sheet mold 15 is retained in an inner circumference 16a of the retaining frame 16 not to move at the time of vacuum drawing, a capping body 20d of suction means 20 being provided at the outer circumference of said retaining frame 16. A vacuum pump 20a is actuated and a valve 20c is opened to deaerate through vent holes 17c and 18c of the frames 17 and 18 at the retaining frame 16 and a vent hole 15b of the sheet mold 15, and the resin molded product 12 is vacuum drawn. Then, specified emboss patterns are transferred from the molding face 15a of sheet mold 15 to the resin molded product 12. |
