发明名称 AMPLITUDE LIMITER
摘要 PURPOSE:To attain the amplitude limit without causing phase fluctuation even for an input signal at a high frequency region by using a transistor (TR) in which one amplitude of an input signal is operated at the active region and the other amplitude is operated at the cut-off region. CONSTITUTION:A TR 12 in an amplitude limit circuit 1 is operated at the active region to the positive amplitude of an input signal waveform 8 to apply linear amplification and biased to be cut off when the amplitude reaches to a prescribed negative level, then a waveform 14 is obtained, where a level of an input signal waveform 8 being a negative level or below is subject to amplitude limit. A TR 16, an emitter resistor 17 and a load resistor 15 constitute a common emitter amplifier and an inverted waveform 18 to the waveform 14 subject to amplitude limit is outputted. Then the output of the inverted waveform 18 is inputted to the amplitude limit circuit 5, and the same operation as above is repeated. Since the amplitude limit is applied by the cut-off characteristic of the TR in this way, the phase fluctuation caused by the storage time of minority carriers is suppressed.
