PURPOSE:To improve the communication efficiency by providing a repeating transmission control means which transmits acceptance information to a terminal equipment designated by a terminal equipment of the other party. CONSTITUTION:When the same document is transmitted to a communication terminal equipment RS 3, a facsimile equipment FAX, a telex equipment TEL, and a teletex TETX by a communication terminal equipment RS 1, repeating transmission indicating information, repeating control file information, and transmission document information are transmitted from the communication terminal equipment RS 1 to a communication terminal equipment RS 2 equivalent to a documentation communication terminal equipment as a repeating terminal. Then, the communication terminal equipment RS 2 repeats and transmits the reception document to the communication terminal equipment RS 3, the facsimile equipment FAX, the telex equipment TEX, the teletex TETX. Since it is sufficient if the transmission document is transmitted to the communication terminal equipment RS 2 near a reception terminal though the communication terminal equipment RS 1 and the communication terminal equipment RS 3 or the like are distant from each other, the communication time is shortened and information is efficiently transmitted to plural terminal equipments.
