PURPOSE:To manufacture an arm rest retaining the position of cloth securely and hard to peel off from the arm rest main body by setting a cloth covering the upper part of the arm rest main body inside an injection mold and injecting molten resin into the injection space. CONSTITUTION:A cloth 11 to cover the upper part of an arm rest main body is set in a fixed position in an outside mold 12 to injection mold the arm rest main body, and said outside mold 12 is closed together with an inside mold 13. Then, molten resin 19 is injected into a resin injection space 16 by a gate 18. At that time, the molten resin 19 injected from the opening of each gate 18 flows under dispersing downstream through a recessed space 17. At the recessed space 17, the parting end 11a of the cloth 11 is pushed to a projected strip 15 of outside mold 12 by the flowing molten resin 19. The injection molding process of arm rest main body is completed by filling molten resin 19 thoroughly, solidifying the same and removing it from outside molds 13 and 12, to form an arm rest 21 with a cloth in which a cloth 11 is fixed with an arm rest main body 20 unitedly. |
