PURPOSE:To markedly enhance the durability of a transferred mark, by fusing to each other a rubber article, the transferred mark and a protective sheet by simultaneous vulcanization by heating. CONSTITUTION:A rubber article 1 and a protective sheet 2 laid on each other are vulcanized by heating under pressure, simultaneously when they together with transferred mark 3 therebetween are fused to each other, thereby obtaining the rubber article 1 with the protective sheet 2 (which is transparent) provided on the outside of the transferred mark 3 provided on a transfer printing surface 1a. For example, a transparent rubber compound is dissolved in an organic solvent such as a ketone, the resultant liquid rubber is treated by a strainer to remove foreign matter therefrom, and the material thus treated is applied to a released paper, followed by drying. A transfer mark is produced on one side of a transparent rubber sheet thus obtained, by using a printing ink containing an unvulcanized rubber, then the rubber sheet is laid on the surface of an unvulcanized rubber article (to which the mark is to be transferred), followed by heating under pressure by a press to vulcanize and weld the members to each other, and the released paper is released from the rubber sheet to obtain a transfer-printed rubber article. Since the transferred mark is covered by the transparent protective sheet, durability thereof is enhanced. |
