PURPOSE:To decrease the content of SO3 groups in FEN-TIAO (stick of bean jelly), by immersing FEN-TIAO in a solution of a hypochlorite, thereby oxidizing SO3 group in FEN-TIAO to SO4 group. CONSTITUTION:FEN-TIAO produced from e.g. mung bean is immersed in a solution containing a hypochlorite such as sodium hypochlorite to oxidize SO3 group in the FEN-TIAO to SO4 group. The treated FEN-TIAO is subjected to water-washing, drying, etc. |
