PURPOSE:To provide the titled material excellent in the moisture resistance, resistance to plasticizer and preservation stability by using specified compounds as leuco dye and phenol-oriented substance while a protective layer of diisobutylene/maleic anhydride copolymer water-soluble salt based compound is provided on a thermosensitive color forming layer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermographic material in which a thermosensitive color forming layer containing a leuco dye and a phenol-oriented substance is provided on a support, a fluorane compound having amino group at least at 3rd and 7th positions (substituted) [e.g. 3-(N-cyclohexyl-N-methylamino)-6-methyl-7-amilinofluorane] is used as the leuco dye and p-hydroxybenzoic ester (e.g. p-hydroxylbenzoic benzyl) as the phenol-oriented substance. In addition, a protective layer mainly composed of diisobutylene/maleic anhydride copolymer water-soluble compound (preferably, at the rate of 10wt% or more) is provided on the thermosensitive color forming layer. |
