PURPOSE:To reduce the operation processing quantity, the circuit scale and the power consumption and to quicken the convergence by constituting a path from an input terminal of the m-th basic section to the 2nd output terminal by a specific digital filter. CONSTITUTION:A signal x(k) is inputted to an unknown system 3 and an adaptive digital filter (ADF) 2 from an input terminal 1 at a time (k), an output signal y(k) of the ADF 2 is subtracted from the output signal y(k) of the unknown system 3 by an adder 4 at the same time (k) and a signal e(k) is supplied to an output terminal 5. A signal p1(k) is inputted from an input terminal 7-1 of the ADF-1 at the time (k) and a signal p2(k) is sent to an input terminal 7-2 of an ADF-2 at the same time (k) and a signal y1(k) is outputted to an output terminal 8-1 at the same time. Further, the similar processing is applied sequentially, and outputs y1(k), y2(k),-yM(k) are added by an adder 6 and the result is an output y(k) of the ADF 2 at the time (k). Thus, the circuit scale is reduced remarkably in comparison with a conventional FIR type ADF and the converging speed is quickened.
