PURPOSE:To prevent an external video from being tinted with another color by outputting a write font (WF) and its color information as control data from a CPU which reads in the WF and mixing the picture signal of a compact disk (CD) and an external video signal by this control data. CONSTITUTION:When the CPU reads in a PM signal, the PM signal passes an instruction gate 20 to trigger the first gate 22. If this PM signal gives blue information, blue of BD color is outputted from the first gate 22, and black information is sent to the first OR circuit 25 from a color converting part 24 in accordance with this output. The BD color signal is applied to the first AND circuit 29 through a no-black gate 26, and an instruction signal is applied to this circuit 29 also through a PM gate 27 or a PB gate 28. The first AND circuit 29 outputs the output for this blue, and it is received to connect a point S1 of the first high-speed switch 31. Thus. the external video is prevented from being tinted with anoter color.
