PURPOSE:To enhance operability and operational stability in replacing an ink film, by providing a mechanism comprising a single can having predetermined phases for releasing a head to form a passage for sliding a magazine to a predetermined position when replacing the ink film. CONSTITUTION:When ejecting a cassette, a cassette ejection switch 4 is turned ON, and a release cam 16 is turned counterclockwise to release a head frame 11, thereby forming a passage for a magazine 3. With the cam 16 further turned, an unlocking cam 13 and a part C of an unlocking lever 14 are engaged with each other, the lever 14 is turned clockwise, and a part G thereof is slidden on a surface D of a fastening lever 15. By this, the lever 15 is turned clockwise to release the engagement of the lever 15 and the magazine 3 at a part E. The magazine 3 is moved to the exterior of a casing, since it is pushed by an ejecting spring 19. The magazine 3 loaded with a fresh pushed by an ejecting spring 19. The magazine 3 loaded with a fresh ink film cassette 2 is pushed into the device, whereby a cassette presence/absence switch 23 provided on the action of the cam.
