PURPOSE:To obtain variable power image data in real time by sampling an image data neighboring an original image data corresponding to a specified variable power ratio, operating a variable power image data in synchronism with a data clock, and outputting the result. CONSTITUTION:A microporcessor 35 operates Ji and Ri for each sampling position i=O-R-1 in response to an image reading start command ST and based on a designated variable power ratio R, sets the H and L of the sampling position data Ai corresponding to the values of Ji-Ji-1, and sets a positio1nal difference data Bi corresponding to Ri, and stores the Ai and a Bi in a RAM 3. At the time of image-reading, the data Ai is supplied to a sampling circuit, and the data Bi to an adder 28. A data selector 28b outputs a data generated by multiplying an image data Sij by a coefficient A corresponding to the Bi, and a data selector 28c outputs a data generated by multiplying an Sij+1 by a coefficient B corresponding to the Bi. An adder 28d synchronizes a variable power image data Oik with a data clock, and outputs the data. |
