PURPOSE:To prevent sticking of slurry coated bodies when they are sintered in a sintering furnace by placing a sheet of a substance which is carbonized in sitering between two or more dried slurry coated bodies before stacking them, then sintering them in a sintering furnace. CONSTITUTION:Two rolls of porous metal core 3 comprising nickel plated metal sheet are separately passed in slurry 1 to apply the slurry 1 to the core 3. Excess slurry 1 is scpaped with a slitter 1, and the slurry 1 is dried with a dryer 4. Before feeding two slurry coated sheet 9 in a sintering furnace 6 with they stacked, a piece of paper made of cellulose is placed between slurry coated sheets 9 with a paper supply unit 5. After sintering in the sintering furnace 6, the sheets 9 are separately wound onto each roll 8. By a thin film formed by carbonizing the cellulose paper, sticking of two sheets 9 can be prevented. |
