PURPOSE:To prevent a jumping-out of an elastic valve body in the assembling of a cell, by installing a cap-form or plate-form elastic valve body to a weight plate side, and placing the plain side of the elastic valve body opposite to the weight plate side, at the upper side of a cylindrical projection of an exhaust hole to enclose the exhaust hole. CONSTITUTION:A cap-form elastic valve body 2 made of rubber is geared to and held by a cylindrical projection holder 5 furnished at a weight plate 1, with the outer diameter a little larger than the inner diameter of the elastic valve body 2. By installing the weight plate 1 holding the elastic valve body 2 to a battery jar, the plane not contacting to the cylindrical projection holder 5 is squeezed to the upper side of a cylindrical projection 4 furnished on an exhaust hole 3, whose outer diameter is smaller than the inner diameter of the cylindrical projection holder 5, and the exhaust hole 3 is enclosed. When the inner pressure of the cell rises, the elastic valve body 2 expands, and the gas in the cell can escape in the arrow directions, and when the inner pressure goes down, the elastic valve body 2 returns by its elasticity, and the enclosed condition of the inside of the cell can be maintained. |
