PURPOSE:To obtain a sensitive material having an excellent anti-fog property and contrast in the shoulder part, by incorporating a specific cyan coupler to an emulsion layer, and diethylhydroxyamine, etc., and poly(alkyleneimine) to a liquid color developer respectively. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the cyan couplers shown by formulas I and II is incorporated in the silver halide emulsion layer. In the formulas, Y is -COR4, -CONR4R5, or -SO2R4, etc., R4 is alkyl or aryl group, etc., R5 is H or alkyl group, etc., R3 is a ballast group, Z is a group capable of cleaving by coupling an oxidant of a color developing agent. The developer contains at least one of ethylhydroxyamine and dimethylhydroxyamine, and also poly(alkyleneimine) shown by formula III wherein R1 is 1-6C alkylene group, R2 is alkyl group, (n) is an integer of 500-20,000. Thus, as the color developer contains poly(alkyleneimine), the titled photosensitive material having excellent fog and contrasty of the shoulder part, and good storage stability and having less tendency for generating color stain is obtd. |
