PURPOSE:To avoid the transmission of duplicated data and to transmit only required data by selectively designating a field including the data to be transmitted to a terminal equipment by a transaction processing program. CONSTITUTION:Initially, field control information 10 is retrieved, and a selection transmitting field bit included in the field control information 10 is turned off, so that the editing relating to the field 13 is not carried out but field control information 11 is successively retrieved. Since the selection transmitting field bit included in the field control information 11 is turned on, the data included in the field 14 is edited. Subsequently, field control information 12 is retrieved, and the selection transmitting bit included in the field control information 12 is turned off, so that the editing relating to the field 15 is not performed. The retrieval of the field control information included in a message transmission request is completed and a transmission field decision means 6 delivers only the edited result of the data included in the field 14 to a message transmitting means 2.
