PURPOSE:To realize mode is with different system specifications with the aid of the same hardware by writing contents in an entry address generation table (MTABLE) complying to system specifications from a system control processor at the time of initializing a system. CONSTITUTION:When the system is initialized, the system control processor 3 decides under what kind of system specifications a basic processor 2 operates. According to the decision one model is selected out of models A, B and C, and the contents of the model are written in the MTABLE 10 through a processor bus 4 and a processor interface 9. For the sake of the writing the MTABLE 10 is configured with RAMs.
