PURPOSE:To use the titled float even in alcohol fuel, by constituting a nitrile rubber polymer of a polymer into which an amino group is introduced, and covering a float body with a fluoro-rubber layer. CONSTITUTION:As for a float for measuring a liquid level of an automobile fule tank, for instance, that of a shape as shown in the figure is used. Also, this float is formed by a high hardness foaming body made of nitrile rubber (NBR), and this NBR polymer is constituted of a polymer into which an amino group is introduced. This amino group introduction NBR (AN amount = 35%, amino monomer coupling amount = 10%) is brought to press formation and formed by executing primary and secondary vulcanizations. A float body which is obtained in this way is further immersed into a fluorine rubber solution, and thereafter, dried by hot air, and the whole outside surface of the float body is covered with a fluorine rubber layer to 20mum film thickness.
