PURPOSE:To correctly set and control the belt tension by the degree of deformation of a disc spring by installing a bolt for swing which adjusts the between- axis distance by shifting a swingable shaft and fixes the swingable shaft by applying a prescribed belt tension, fastening nut, disc spring, and a fastening fixing frame. CONSTITUTION:A belt drive transmission device is constituted of a fixed shaft side pulley 12, swingable shaft side pulley 11, and a belt tension setting device. The swingable shaft side pulley 11 is installed onto a fastening fixing frame 19 through a bolt 16 for swing, disc spring 18, and a fastening nut 17. When the belt tension is set with such constitution, setting is performed, monitoring the deflection of the disc spring 18 by tightening the fastening nut 17, or a prescribed close adhesion load is set by loosening the fastening nut 17 by several times of revolution portion after the disc spring 18 is closely attached onto the fastening fixing frame 19.
