PURPOSE:An antiallergic for the delayed type that contains a specific compound as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The objective antillergic contains, as an active ingredient, a compound of formula I (R1 is lower alkanoyl; R2 is lower alkonoyloxy, lower alkanoylamino, or incorporates R4 to show formula II or formula III; R3 is H, when R2 incorporates R4, or incoporates R4 in other cases to show formula II, when R2 is alkanoylamino, or CH=CH-O, formula II, IV or V, when R2 is alkanoyloxy; R5 is ower alkanoloxy, when R2 incorporates R4 to form formula II, or is lower alkyl or 2-chloroethylsulfinyl, when R2 is alkanoyloxy and R3 incorporates R4 to represent formula II, or is H in the other cases). It can be given orally, but it is preferably given parenterally, especially used for exter nal use. When it is used as an ointment, 10mg-5g of the compound are applied to the affected part each day once or in portions.
