PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of adverse influences upon movement of a lens barrel, a film surface, etc., by canceling the variance in the internal pressure of a camera body accompanied with forward and backward movement of the lens barrel. CONSTITUTION:A camera body 1 is provided with a body 2, a lens barrel 3 which is attached to the front of the body 2 so that it can be moved forward and backward, a rear cover 4 which is openably and closably attached to the rear face of the body 2, a finder part 5 provided on the upper face of the body 2, and a pressure correcting chamber 6 formed under the body 2. An airtight lens hood 11 is provided in the front of a master lens 7 of the barrel 3, and at least the waterproof effect between the lens barrel 3 and the body 2 is attained by the hood 11 and a bellows member 10, and the airtightness in the degree of waterproof effect is held in the rear cover 4, the finder part 5, etc. An airtight expansible member 18 is provided in a connection part 14 of the correction chamber 6 to cut off air between the first chamber 6a and the second chamber 6b. This member 18 is airtightly fixed around the part 14 of the correction chamber 6. The member 18 varies the capacity of the correction chamber 6 so that the variance of internal pressure of the body 1 accompanied with forward and backward movement of the lens barrel 3 is cancelled.
