<p>PURPOSE:To heighten the operational efficiency of a data processing system, by turning on the power source of a central processing unit automatically immediately after the recovery of the power source even when the power source of the central processing unit is cut off by a power failure, etc., while the system is operated. CONSTITUTION:When the power source of a central processing unit 2 is cut off during the operation of the system, a flip-flop 17 in an automatic operation controller 1 goes to a set state, and also, the value of an operational time setting register 16 that is counted down at every prescribed time is not zero at the cut off time of the power source. Consequently, when the power is recovered, the power source of the central processing unit 2 is turned on immediately after the recovery of the power because a flip-flop 19 in the automatic operation controller 1 is in the set state.</p> |
