PURPOSE:To keep always each developing device in a correct position by providing trays, on which respective developing devices should be put, in a developing garage where plural developing devices are stored. CONSTITUTION:Developing devices 42-44 are put on saucer-shaped trays 82-84 and are stored in a developing garage 70 in this state. When developing devices 42-44 are detached from and attached to an image forming device for the purpose of replenishing a toner, the lock of the developing garage 70 is released to slide it right. If the developing device 43 should be taken out, the tray 83 on which the developing device 43 is put is pulled out to the front, namely, in parallel with the axial direction of a photosensitive drum 40. The developing device 43 appears in the front of an image forming device and can be taken out from the pulled-out tray 83. When the developing device 43 is set, said process is performed reverse to set the developing device 43 to a prescribed position by click and lock, and the gap between the drum 40 and a developing sleeve 43f is easily kept at prescribed dimensions with a high precision. |
