PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of tar constituent or the like by supplying air from the hollow shaft of the title screw feeder made of a porous material. CONSTITUTION:The supplying port 4 of gas for a jacket is provided between the jacket 11 and a casing 12 and the supplying port 7 for gas for a rotary shaft is provided below the hollow rotary shaft 13 while air or inert gas is introduced thereinto. The air arrives at the surface through the casing 12 and the porous small holes of the rotary shaft 13, therefore, thermal decomposition in a screw feeder 3 and the adhesion of tar to the screw feeder 3 may be prevented. This screw feeder is suitable for supplying resin into an incinerator.
