PURPOSE:A nonaqueous skin cosmetic giving sense of warmth that contains a specific vanillyl alkyl ether and a lactic acid ester of a branched and saturated alcohol, thus giving durative sense of warmth without side-effects and skin irritation. CONSTITUTION:(A) At least one of compounds of the formula (R is 3-6C alkyl) and (B) a lactate of a branched and saturated alcohol such as isopropyl lactate, isobutyl lactate, 2-ethylhexyl lactate are added in an amount, based on the total weight, of 0.05-5wt% and 0.5-90.0wt%, respectively, where B is more than 10 times the quantity of A to give the objective skin cosmetic. The product is safe to human bodies, without skin irritation, unpleasant smell, further gives pleasant and durative sense of warmth to skins, promptly when it is applied to skins, without fever or temperature rise of skin. |
