PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in riding comfortability by setting the variable spring constant of a spring device forcibly to a soft side in a vehicle fitted with a spring device of a variable constant when a vehicle load variation has been detected. CONSTITUTION:A suspension device 4 has a built-in spring device 3 of a spring constant variable in at least two stages of soft and hard sides via the changeover of a working fluid amount. And said spring constant is manually made variable by a spring constant manual selection means 1 and set to a varied position selected by a spring constant setting means 2. In this case, a vehicle load variation detecting means 5 is provided for detecting or estimating the change of a vehicle load. And when a vehicle load variation has been detected or estimated by said detecting means 5, the spring constant is set to the soft side, regardless of a position selected by said selection means 1. |
