PURPOSE:To obtain a sensive material having an excellent anti-fog property and contrast in the shoulder part by incorporating a specific cyan coupler to an emulsion layer, and diethylhydroxyamine, etc., and poly(alkyleneimine) to a liquid color developer respectively. CONSTITUTION:The cyan coupler shown by formula I is incorporated into the silver halide emulsion layer. In the formula, one of R and R1 is H, and another one of them is 2-12C straight or a branched alkyl group, X is H or a group capable of cleaving by coupling reaction of an oxidant of a color developing agent of N-hydroxyalkyl substd.-p-phenylene diamine derivative, R2 is a ballast group. And, the developer of the photosensitive material contains at least one of diethylhydroxyamine and dimethyl hydroxyamine, and also the compd. shown by formula II, wherein R1 is 1-6C alkylene group, R2 is alkyl group, (n) is an integer of 500-20,000. Thus, the titled photosensitive material having the excellent fog and contrasty of the shoulder part and the good storage stability and capable of preventing a lowering of the density of the cyan coloring matter is obtd. |
