PURPOSE:To interrupt a processing according to an external necessity by changing over the increment value of the address counter of a program control circuit to 1 or 0 according to an external control signal. CONSTITUTION:The external control signal of 1 or 0 is supplied to the first register 1 driven by an external clock signal, the output of this first register 1 is supplied to the second register 2 driven by an internal clock signal and the output signal of the second register is supplied to an input Cn for setting the increment value of the address counter of the program control circuit. In such way, by controlling the increment value of the address counter of a control part, an external processing operation can be efficiently and correctly controlled.
