PURPOSE:To reduce the resistance in a wind passage and stabilize the amount of humidification by providing a hole at two sections, upper and lower, at least of each humidifying element which consists of a porous hydrophilic plastic flat plate with self-retaining force and connecting the humidifying elements by means of those holes and keeping the pitch in humidifying elements constant. CONSTITUTION:An indoor unit main body 40 is provided with a blower 4, heat exchanger 5 and humidifier 20 in this order. The humidifying elements of the humidifier 20 are constituted with porous hydrophilic plastics which has self- rigidity. When they are supplied wafer from a receiving pan 21, its water absorbing action wets the surfaces of the humidifying elements with water and humidifies the heating air. A hole is pierced in both the upper and lower sections of the humidifying element 23. After the side plate 28 on one side is fixed to a core section 27 and a spacer 26 of height A and the humidifying element 23 are inserted into the rod core 27, one side plate 28 is fixed to constitute a humidifying section. This pitch A is 2-4 times as large as the fin pitch in a heat exchanger. |
