PURPOSE:To display plural submodes without using plural keys by displaying submodes due to a mode key on a specific area in a display area corresponding to the mode key when the mode key is operated. CONSTITUTION:When a print key 54 is turned on, a copying display code is outputted to an operation part. When the special variable magnification mode, the both sides mode, or the like is set together with trimming, masking, combination copy, and their subfunction modes, submodes are displayed on areas of a display area 69 determined by subframe codes. That is, copying is displayed and setting of the combination mode during copying and 110% expansion are displayed in a figure (b). Since respective modes are displayed on areas corresponding to an editing key 66 and a special variable magnification key 63, plural submodes are displayed without using plural keys. |
