PURPOSE:To eliminate a tabulation error generated by the trouble of a terminal controller by transmitting a processing number inquiry instruction for correcting a tabulation file to a terminal side when the trouble is generated and the system in current use is changed over to a spare system and correcting the tabulation file by a tabulation processor based on inquiry data and a processing number. CONSTITUTION:In a totalization processing system in which polling data AD the processing number are transmitted from a terminal, response data RD is returned from the tabulation processor thereby, the totalization of the polling data and the card issuance to the response data are carried out, when the trouble is generated in a terminal controller of a duplex constitution, and the system in current use is changed over to a spare system, the processing number inquiry instruction CD for correcting the tabulation file is transmitted to the terminal side, and the tabulation processor corrects the tabulation file based on the inquiry data AD fed from the terminal to the instruction CD and the processing number. Thereby, the tabulation error generated by the trouble of the terminal controller can be eliminated to improve the reliability of tabulation data. |
