<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in the tension to a recording tape medium at the reversing by providing a clutch means between a reel base and a brake drum. CONSTITUTION:The clutch means 32 is provided between the reel base 15 engaged and supported with a reel and the brake drum 21. In winding a magnetic tape by the reel engaged with the reel base 15, the clutch means 32 is disconnected and the reel base 15 is driven by a torque supplied via a gear 17. In supplying the magnetic tape from the reel, the clutch means 32 is connected and the brake torque by the brake drum 21 is given to the reel base 15. Thus, a back tension is given to the magnetic tape. Thus, the reduction in the tension to the recording tape medium at the reversing is prevented.</p> |
